The Jose Eber Hair Trio: Three Barrels for Three Broads

Hair products intimidate me. Hair dressers seem to effortlessly work their magic tools through my hair, leaving me with an inflated sense of self esteem and unrealistic expectations for what I should look like on a day to day basis. Maybe I am just lazy. My average hair routine is washing every other day, blow drying it quickly with a flat brush or throwing it up in a ponytail or bun. So when Jose Eber Hair asked me to try their Trio Clipless Curling Iron, my initial feelings of hair inadequacy were followed by the excitement that maybe, just maybe, I could improve my styling skills with the right tools. But with three barrels to test out, I needed to recruit some help. And that, I do believe, is why sisters exist.

Along with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty, the Trio Clipless Curling Iron includes three interchangeable barrels: 19mm, 25mm, and (my personal favorite) a tapered barrel. Also included but not pictured is a heat resistant glove that you will need since the beautiful waves you’ll get from the Jose Eber clipless curling iron come at the cost of using your hand to wrap the hair around the barrel. The pro’s of no crimping or lines and an unprecedented definition in curls make taking the heat worth it. Instead of just showing you how the clipless curling iron worked for me, my two sisters were commissioned during Thanksgiving to use the differences in our hair thickness and texture to help really test out what the curler had to offer.

We each ended with a result we liked but was varied. Now here comes the part of the article that I may a claim that sounds too good to be true. My hair is thick in number but thin in texture and generally refuses to hold any kind of curl. With only the slightest spritz of hair spray, my hair somehow managed to maintain the curl not only throughout Thanksgiving Day when the in vivo testing took place, but lasted for THREE DAYS after that. Three days! I am still trying to wrap my mind around how that was even physically possible. For a tool that is super simple to use, Jose Eber Hair still manages to work that elusive hair stylist magic into the Trio Clipless Curler.
